Apricale’s unique powertrain enables a complete rethink of the EV hypercar. Because the powertrain is far smaller and lighter, it provides the freedom to build a long-range zero emissions hypercar which is as compact asa petrol-engined equivalent.

The hypercar, distilled
The guiding principle is light weight and compact dimensions. As F1 designers have known for 60 years, the key to lap times is not speed down the straight, it is speed through the corners. The lighter and more agile the car is, the faster and more involving it is when cornering.
The design of the Apricale derives from its function. If the function is pure, the form is pleasing. As with racing cars, Apricale has the necessary beauty that follows from the single-minded pursuit of its goal: driving purity.

The interior has been designed by Pininfarina. In keeping with the exterior, it reflects the car’s focus on driver involvement: everything is designed to make the task of driving as intuitive and inspiring as possible. Like the exterior, it is purposeful, stylish and avoids any unnecessary embellishment.

Our motorsport expertise has not only been used to develop a world-leading powertrain. The chassis uses the latest motorsport technology to take full advantage of the Apricale’s light weight.
The guiding principle of the Apricale is driver involvement. It is the first zero-emission vehicle to provide the driver with the thrill of a lightweight, thoroughbred hypercar. At every corner, the driver experiences how the Apricale responds instantly and accurately to driver inputs.
The combination of an electric motor that responds far faster than a petrol engine, plus a world-class chassis means that the Apricale is not merely as good to drive as a classic petrol hypercar – it is better.
